The Environment Commission develops and promotes ASD positions on EU environmental initiatives affecting aerospace, space, and defence. Key focus areas include climate change, sustainable fuels, chemicals, emissions, noise, and air quality. The Commission tracks new environmental legislation, engages with European and international stakeholders, and supports communication efforts to highlight the environmental progress of the aerospace sector.
When it comes to sustainability and the environment, ASD members have many interests in common, where a joint approach can have a considerably better impact than working at the individual company level.
