Call for Abstracts: S1000D & IPS User Forum 2024

About the event

The S1000D & IPS User Forum is a four-day long event that serves as a global platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation in IPS and related areas. The theme of this year's event is "Discover the Future of Integrated Product Support (IPS) and ensure peak asset availability and Product Support excellence through the integration and harmonisation of S1000D & S-Series IPS Specifications".

The forum will feature insightful discussions, tutorial sessions, product demonstrations, and networking opportunities, with a focus on advancing IPS capabilities and enhancing asset availability across the aerospace and defence industries.

We invite your expertise

We invite practitioners, thought leaders, and subject matter experts to enrich the 2024 User Forum. We highly appreciate proposals aligned with this year's theme, which emphasises the benefits of integrating the S-series Specifications for data harmonisation and optimal asset availability. Nevertheless, we are open to compelling and innovative proposals that go beyond this specific focus.

Submission guidelines

  • Abstract submission period: 15 March to 31 May 2024.
  • Submission form: Abstracts must be provided on the form below (English only).
  • Content focus: Abstracts must relate to S1000D or S-Series IPS specifications with a focus on integration and data harmonisation. We are open to compelling and innovative proposals that go beyond this specific focus.
  • Presentation formats: Individual speaking sessions (30 minutes) or Panel sessions (90 minutes, including Q&A).
  • Non-attributional content: Presentations are to be non-attributional, and no product marketing presentations will be accepted.
  • Review process: All proposals will be thoroughly reviewed by the User Forum Evaluation teams.

Key dates

  • Abstract submission period: 15 March to 31 May 2024.
  • Notification of acceptance: 30 June 2024 at the latest.
  • Event dates: 23-26 September 2024.
